Our Philosophy
At The Right Word, we believe in the power of the written word and understand how context and nuance affect the audience. We know that using the right word in the right way with the right rhythm, cadence, and flow can make all the difference.
Who We Are
The Right Word, LLC is a small woman-owned business owned by me, Susan Lovett.
After earning a Bachelors of Arts in Writing, I applied my skills working for the Mouse. Mickey, that is. Since then, I’ve been a Director of Communications for a national nonprofit, authored three nonfiction books, and served as president of my independent writing studio. I’m a member of the Military Writers Guild and a former president of Women in Film & Video of Washington, DC.
I’ve worked for clients large and small on a wide variety of projects.
The one thing the projects all had in common? Story. It is the core of every written work and the core of every business.
